Originally built for car assembly to house the Datsun plant, The Scrap Yard has been revitalised and is now a popular social, wellbeing and retail precinct.
Situated in the heart of Grey Lynn, Westmoreland Street was once the industrial centre of Grey Lynn. Eighteen Westmoreland Street was built for car assembly and housed the Datsun plant. More recently the property was used as the Burrells salvage and demolition yard until it was repurposed to its current use in 2017.
A precinct of like-minded businesses. The scrapyard spaces offer high stud ceilings with polished concrete floors, all in a north facing building with presence in the Westmoreland Street neighbourhood.
The Scrap Yard is located at 18 Westmoreland Street West, Grey Lynn, with pedestrian and vehicular access and on site parking for cars and bikes.
